PURPOSE AND PHILOSOPHY
The USASA coaching license course is designed to train amateur coaches and team administrators in current coaching methodology, team administration and player preparation for all levels of adult competition. The better we train our coaches the better our teams and players will be. It has been statistically proven beyond any doubt that teams led by certified coaches are more successful and play with a higher level of sportsmanship. The United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA), under the leadership of Mr. L. Aprigliano, chairperson of the USASA Coaching Committee, has launched a successful program offering a condensed USSF approved course to train and license coaches. The course is conducted on three successive days usually on weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).
